Kuwait is little far from what is going on today, but there is great concern here that something might break up internally or if Sadam would do something foolish.
how are you? how is life? and how is your mother? you back in NYC?

I am pleased you are well. Though I know Kuwait is a good distance it still adds yet another concern. Foolishness seems to be so common in all government (and I suppose always has been but now we have such devastating weaponry) that these situations make us all a bit more nervous.

I am well thank you. I have not yet left for Charlotte. I leave tomorrow morning and will remain with my mother for about a week. We are planning a relaxing week of doing nothing but spending time together. While I am there we do plan to drive to Biltmore Estate (biltmore.com) as I've never seen it, and to spend the day in the mountains near Asheville.

I also look forward to a week of on the deck in the mornings as we plan a day full of nothing in particular. Granted we'll have no forward to on , but a week of and will make me .

I am doing pretty well health-wise and work-wise, though saddened by all the bombings, anthrax attacks, attacks in Palestine...etc.....

Thank you. She is doing well. Much better after I spent so much time there.

All of the goings on have saddened me as well. I just try to remind myself that regardless of what is happening most people are basically good and kind. I refuse to give up hope that these attributes will one day be stronger than those which show themselves lately.

I am happy that you are doing well (or as well as can be expected) with everything that is happening. My thoughts continue to be with you.
