I always seem to end up coming on my PC when I drink.(A sign I'm addicted, I suppose..to hootoo, that is!)
I'm housesitting this week for a fabulous house, next to a large waterfall, surrounded by fields and animals. Might go riding tomorrow cos its gorgeous up here.
I have my pal coming over tomorrow. She is on the verge of a breakdown. Unfortunately, she is using me as an emotional crutch and is taking everything I say, as law.She has had such a complicated, desperately unhappy life and I think its all catching up on her.
Do you know any psychologists around here? I could do with some advice.
Cheers Hull

I got a fright yesterday! You know how I was housesitting...well, they came home early unannounced!
I had planned tidying up later that day but it was ROASTING up here(AHH!) and I was out enjoying the sunshine.
Off out to the Comedy Club in Glasgow tonight for my pals birthday. Last time we went, I nearly wet myself and was snorting and laughing when everyone else was quiet. The worst of it is, my friends and I always set each other off....we even did it at Classical music concert in the very Acoustic and Large Royal Glasgow Concert hall...O-er....its going to be a challenge!!

Hi Gorgeous,
Like the pictures on the website. The two girls look great and the blokes look nice . You've got a really good scene there and I hope it brings in lots of cash. Haven't been able to hear you yet as my speakers haven't arrived!
Sorry I bin away but keep in touch an' I'll tell you what you sound like over the ether.
Graciously,

Hey Hull
Lovely to see you back where you belong!
Yeah..I was all about my poem. I've put a very silly scrawl in my journal.
My big bruv is coming up from Oxfordshire in a week or so. Can't wait to see him. Its my other bruvs birfday so he is coming up to suprise him. No doubt I'll get dwunk AGAIN! Last time he was home we had a gig with the ceilidh band which was great cos the band really misses having him. He used to do snare and other bits and bobs. Now I have to do it all....and its stressful. It lacks that OOMPH we used to have but I suppose it helps my playing. Glad you like Clamjam site. I would give you the WWW for the samba band but it'll only say "currently under construction" which has been in status for about a year or sumfin!!!
Ecky-thump...there I go a-ramblin' again.
NR Doll with a mysterious and painless bruise on her leg!?!

Nice to be back, NDoll!
You don't say you're going to be drunk again WITHIN A WEEK OR TWO! What a tale of rampant dissolution
Hope your bruise gets better...were you playing the congas with your legs? Or can't you remember?

Dunno...it just appeared.
Glad you called them congas and not bongos! I hate it when folk call them that.
The kids in Lochwinnoch are so thick that when I was walking along with a Brazilian drum, one night, one wee ned siad "hey missus...gies a shot of yer banjo". Thats scottish education for you...or drugs.

But what else do you say to someone walking along with a Brazilian drum in Lochwinnoch at night? Hello, glad to meet you, nice to see you walking round with a Brazilian drum, especially here, and at night ?? With a bruise on your leg too?

Hurray!!!!
My Brother is up from Oxfordshire for the weekend!!
Suppose I'll have to get drunk again!!
Poor dad's PC has packed up after a few hundred pounds upgrade. My other bruv will have to spend the w/end fixing it......I love being ignorant! But I have had to look after his dog all week.
Life in the country dealt me a good hand today...I happened to be next to a field of Highland Coos when a big fight started.
Horns clashing, thundering hooves, snorts and huffs!!It was like something on the Serengeti!
FIGHT!FIGHT!FIGHT!FIGHT!

Hi NDoll!
Hope you have a great time and get far too drunk!
Are you sure them coos weren't Glasgow Highlanders??
I'm going away to Southwold on the Suffolk coast next week, so I'll be offline. Here's a link to keep you happy while I'm away. All you have to do is click on it:

Hello, hello!
Just had a wonderful weekend down in Dumfriesshire. We were playing for our accordion players' mums 60th birthday. It was really good fun cos everyone knew one another. The sun shone, the buzzards soared and much merriment. I feel revitalised ( and perhaps a tad sunburned!!Ooooops!
How was your week?business or pleasure?
Oh!Must tell you about this........
God, someone switch me off....I need to relax!!!

ERM...somehow I cut the story out....On Friday night, my pal and I are at her folks on the PC. Next to me is a sideboard, level with my face. We were laughing and making loads of noise. I turned to get my wine glass and came face to face with a field mouse!!!!EEEK!Five inches from my face!Of course, I did the girlie thing and shrieked, running from the room. So by this point everyone in the house knows theres a mouse. My pals dad then tries to scoop it up and it jumps down the back. But he pretends to catch it and throw it outside. So while everyone is in the other room, we start trying to locate......there!Under the bed!So we're giggling cos we don't know what to do. I open the patio door in the hope it'll run out but that only scares it the other way, into the kitchen where everyone else is.Screams and stamping of feet!
Apparently(!) it ran out the front door!Don't know if I believed that but the person whose room it was then convinced that the house was infested! What a laugh!

Don't you think that's a bit, well, er, erm, ?
I had a lovely holiday in Southwold, thanks, NR. It's where Adnams brew the best beer in the country, and the town's awash with it (every pub) and it's brilliantly fresh and invigorating. As are the seafront promenade, the new pier, (very tasteful), and the deep, cold, emotional North Sea. I love the North Sea, it has lots of rages where it smashes very violently against the seafront, and at other times it's quiet with a deep, thoughtful, colourless melancholy.

So I asked on h2g2 and was justed really confused by the replies!!!So super-gadget boy did it for me.
My pal is at the game tonight(madrid-whoever) with her band to play prematch. They got tickets aswell...I bet you they could have made some money off those!!!!!Fools!
I am having some quality time with my pc tonight.I feel its been ages since I did that. I've been busy recently and have enough time to check email and a quick look at h2g2 but tonight........will be mine!!!
