Hi I'm spelugx (just call me 'x' easier to spell (thanks Irving)).
Welcome to H2G2. I'm am Assistant Community Editor (ACE) and I'm a sort of official greeter. I hope you find lots of interesting things around this site. To help you get started go and have a look at our newspaper (http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/thepost), especially the links page where you can find all the groups and meetings places.
Personnally I like to hang out in the Aroma Café where anyone is welcome (http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A202924).
There is a scottish researcher's group around here somewhere if you do a search for it. I'm scottish myself although not a member.
