My name is dave Barter, I am a writer researching the Year Mileage record for cycling (www.phased.co.uk)

I came across your post via a google search and am writing to enquire whether you succeeded in gathering any more information concerning Walter? If so would you be prepared to share with me as I am currently ascertaining whether or not there is enough information to write a book about the holders and their attempts.
