Hooray - i like this article, though i have been meaning to update it. In the light of the restructuring of the Chinese film industry, the move to foriegn investment, and the semi absorbtion of the HK industry as well as a new conservativism on behalf of film makers in reaction to neo-liberal / globalised policies in China the Fifth generation has essentially ended and the article could be made much tidier.
A new sixth generation / new chinese cinema entry could be a goer too.
