I noticed on your site your fight with kidney desease. My best friend has fought the battle for over three years and recently was a recipient of a kidney. I know what a rough battle it is and just wanted to wish you luck.

Its not kidney disease the mad bugger has, it's kidney abuse. He drank half a jar of rank out-of-date pickled egg vinegar - an event I'm betting had consequencies. Anyway, he can have one of mine, as long as I have the right to take it back when I feel like it:

"Autist, go to the shop for me, I need a kebab"

"Go yourself you fat knacker"

"Autist, I want my Kidney back"

"OK Uber, I'll go, can I keep the change?"

It wasn't out of date, that would be vile.

I've just begun the opperative process, with surgery on Sept 11 - a renal piloplasty and nephrectomy. After which i will hopefully be like new.

All of the good wishes i've recieved here at H2G2 have been really helpful and supportive. Thankyou again.

Just wanted to wish you a happy holidays and hope you are feeling well. Ready to spar yet?

Feeling much better - though following my operation it's a little uncomfortable to sit bolt upright without moving for long periods of time - so i don't. Unfortunately H2G2 tends to make me do just that! So i've not been online much since emerging from hospital.

However i've spent the last 24 hours putting the finishing touches to a couple of my guide entries - including one on the structure of the kidney A812936! All opinions welcome.
