I'm fairly new to this and haven't found my feet yet really. And i've been arguing with American's a little too much to attend my own little acre of H2G2.

Amateur I guess. By profession (if not design) i'm a photography teacher and youth worker. So if photography does turn out to be art and if enquiry is an inherent part of education and guidance maybe it is a professional interest.

been a bit of a mad couple of days. i don't know if i'm over-reacting (i suspect not) you've made some very good points over the various threads (i think the 'love islam, hate america' one has descended into abuse) none of which are anti-american. i hope americans start to see themselves as others see them; try to understand why those in the middle east hate them, and hopefully recognise the global impact of their position as the world's only super-power. i pray that george w isn't the man i think he is. america could go through a period of introspection and come out the other side thinking that the only way to protect themselves is to make the world in their image - become bigger bullies than they've already been credited for.

I hope GWB isn't the man that HE thinks he is! I just pray that he's not really in charge. America is in danger of justifying everything that these b*****ds have done.

Having read your page thouroughly now i can see no information about myself at all, and i take this comment to be a cruel self-publicising trick.

I knew what i mean I thought i'd get to know you a bit better before i mentioned you on my page
