Why lads suck.
Posted Jul 11, 2002
Lads suck because:
1) theyre insecure, when its blatantly my job to do that.
2) they avoid me when they should be doing the opposite.
3) they know what you feel but dont seem to want or be able to do anything about it.
4) they set you up and tear you down
5) you dont know if they love or hate you
7) their little friends are evil
8) they wear pants tucked in thier socks (you know that ones!)
sorry. Im in a bad mood. no offense.

Right. so. Ive been off sick for the past two days, and the quality of day time television has gone downhill no end! What are the bored teenage population supposed to do with themselves when ill if not to watch television? I'm a fan and all, but today I switched off. Actually SWITCHED OFF my television, because there was just nothing on! What is the point in having 900 TV channels if there is nothing on any of them? Not even the "Pub Channel" was entertaining today. pah.

Study Periods: Help oir Hinderence?
Posted Jun 18, 2002
I used to enjoy my frees, finding them a nice relaxing/catching up time from the lessons that had dragged on before them. However, now I just have far too many of them! Now that the exams are over, I'm up to 11 frees a week! What am I supposed to do with myself during this time?! The only thing I can suggest is sleeping, as this is of ultimate value to the student, or going to the pub. There isa slight problem with lack of funds there though. The student is not made of money (though, if you find one that is, refer him to me!)
I now spend my time listening to really bad music in the common room, and being beaten up and terrorised by my co-students. Surely there should be a more constructive use of my valuable time. But, I shouldnt complain, I';m sure in a few weeks I'll be glad of them, but for the time being I'm gonna complain like hell!

Bad Band Bad
Posted Mar 23, 2002
Because we're such an organised lot in my band, and because we have such a *fantastic* name, "Operation Blue Trowel", I despare of the lot of them.
The Story So Far:
I joined before Christmas when Mike, the drummer, asked me randomly in form one morning. I was really looking forward to it, as I had always wanted to be in a band. Frist band practise was an experience. For one thing, I only knew one of the three people in the band. I had met Keir, lead guitar, for about 5 minutes, whilst he was drunk in the middle of Chester, and all he could say to me was:
"Your not as hot as Mike said you were!"
When I got there Keir felt it necessary to prove to me that, no, he didn't have ginger pubes, in the only obvious way. Thats right, you guessed it, he showed me things he shouldn't have. Nice.
Since then, there has been a total break down in communication. Mostly to do with the fact that our drummer wouldn't do a gig that we have at the end of this month, because he hadn't been properly asked. Did he want it in writing or what? Weird. Then, I was told he had either been chucked out the band, or left or something. Then one of my mates asked him about this and he knew nothing about it. So he had a go. Nice. Now our guitarist says he's leaving after the next gig, despite the fact that he knows we have another gig in the summer for on the radio. He's a dinkis. Nice.
So, we have two weeks to get good before this gig. If anyone wants to randomly appear, all the better. Its for charity too!
Brookvale Community Center, Runcorn. Saturday 6th April, 1.30pm onwards. Its in aid of Halton Haven Hospice, so it's a good cause! Please?
