Green Day, Idlewild ("Remote Part" is a tad shitty, but the older ones are fab!), Flickerstick, Feeder, American Head Charge, Amen, Vex Red, Halo, Avril Lavigne, NOFX, American Hi-fi, Reel Big Fish, Jimmy Eat World...

there are loads, but Im not arsed about writing them all down. Generally EMO/metal/ska or punk. "Alternative" I suppose. How bout you then?

Nowt wrong with Halo! They have brilliant harmonies, which is why I like them! Im not really such a big fan of Flaming Lips. Mostly cos they suck.

I love when people post drunk! I might do that tonight if I havent passed out. Be warned...celebrating my crappy As level results. Not too bad.

Well, I didnt fail anything so I may as well celebrate! I failed a modual, but that doesnt matter too much...its only maths.

im perhaps a little keen...ive done a lot better than some of my friends - i want to tell them that a levels dont matter (which they dont) but it looks like im boasting. its a tough situation.

i got my a in RS by 1 mark - ive never sailed *that* close to the wind...and i *always* play down my acheivements - its better than playing them up, eh?

I got B's in GS and English Lit, C's in RS and Music and a D in Maths. Which means I actually passed it. Im soo going to do better then this next year. Possibly cos I fully intend to actually do some work! Dunno what Uni I wanna go to, cos all the entry grades are so high for English which totally sucks. We'll see though.

there are billions of universities that would have you on that...and all the ones that wouldnt would expect you to do loads of work - completely unnecessary. being a student is about not doing work.

why am i going to oxford then? blame my parents and their headgames.

sorry...i have an ambivalent view towards oxford. sometimes i think i really want to go, sometimes i just reckon its going to be rubbish. if id had my way id have gone to bristol, but my parents threatened to commit suicide or something if i didnt go to oxford...i just dont know whats good for me

basically, i went to a public school, so its not so much pulling my finger out as having less opportunity to go to parties and the pub every day

Well, good. I should hope not. Got to see Reel Big Fish. So much. Last time they were fab, and Ive missed them so...listening to them now actually, and really really need the new album.

i cant remember many bands playing anyway, but i just remember that there is an outrageous number of good ones

see the eighties matchbox b line disaster if you can - they are an ACE punk type band. and they have a cool name. and theres billiuons fo great guitar bands like them playing
