Hi ZSF, rather than seem to tout my friend's practice I thought I'd post direct to you rather than on FB's thread.
Although he was my general dentist for a few years (and was my Best Man when I got married) I (luckily ) haven't personally had any need for cosmetic dentistry.
My friend has a website: http://www.smilesbyraj.com
You can contact him via this if you are interested - he may not know me as Pimms, but if you want to mention he was my best man and that I live on an island he'll know who you're talking about

Thanks, Pimms!
I did wonder about your putting it on site, and thought you might send it to me by e-mail as my e-mail address is on the scouts e-group. This will do nicely. I may or may not decided to do anything about getting my teeth fixed, but getting the information is a first step.

Using the Scouts e-group rather assumes I can easily access it and had the nous to remember where I might find your e-mail address
I receive e-mails from the e-group (when the blasted local server is working ) but can't get access to the e-group direct from where I usually have access to a computer. I could probably find it in an old e-mail, assuming I haven't deleted them all.
I'm not quite sure what the etiquette is for providing links to other sites. I look on this as simply providing a link to somewhere to look for information - we are all researchers after all. It isn't even of dubious content

I get regular e-mails from the group, Pimms, and I regularly delete them once I've read them. I usually only keep ones with useful information and of course the one with my pick details. I don't use the Yahoo page. I've had a couple of e-mails from people with access to the e-group, which have been very helpful. Z for instance, gave me some information from his medical viewpoint which was really interesting.
I've looked at the site and have a number, so I'll give him a ring later today. Thanks a lot for the details. I did notice that the smiles he had corrected needed rather less work than mine. All my canines are prominent and slightly crooked. It was interesting what the corrective work had done to the face itself; it wasn't just the teeth that showed the benefit.
