A question for you ZSF...

Hello there...smiley - biggrin

I need some advice - haven't been around long enough to have worked out this one yet.

I want to write a guide entry about Cooktown in Oz, and did a search on the name (thank you for that tip smiley - smiley). I found a short entry already. I'd like to pick it up and expand it considerably, but I don't know how to go about it.

It's called Cooktown, Queensland, A526538 , written by Master Flinx who doesn't seem to be around any more.

Is it possible / am I allowed to submit the entry on his behalf and then edit it myself?

I see what you mean, F/b. Master Flinx appears to have long gone. Generally, if you wanted to pick up another researcher's work, you would leave a message in his/her space, however with this one, it's undoubtedly a waste of time.

You could probably do one of two things, either start an entry afresh - let's face it there isn't much content to his entry - or use his information and add him to the authors, by clicking on the 'Edit the Researcher' list and inserting his Researcher number. I'd be inclined to start the entry afresh, if I were you. smiley - smiley
