this is my first time picking entries and i cannot find 3, i have picked one(the volvo one) but none others are done. i have not figured the email to send to the scout group yet, so that is why i am asking you personally and on h2g2. also you are an ace, so i figured i had a safe bet that you were friendly. could you maybe help me find another, or give me the email for the scout group, my email is [email protected]

I quite understand. When I had my last picks (mid January), there was *very* little that was ready - worse than it is now, I think.

I found one that was ready, which I recommended, then 'stalked' ones which had not had their statutory seven days in PR.

The current arrangement in PR makes choosing picks easier, as you can see how long they have been in. I'm not fairly methodical in choosing. I go down from top to bottom, making notes on a sheet of paper of the state of play of each.

I don't know when your pick date is, but assuming it's 3-4 days away, you could also look at ones which will be ready within that time which do not have outstanding issues. You can then give them a final check and pounce as soon as they are ready. If you are fortunate, you will get to pick them, if not you may have to wait until the next day for the next one to become available.

I'm off for a few days after today. I'll post you the e-group. I know someone there suggested their own entry as being 'ready'. If you need a bit more time, e-mail Anna and let her know. She'll be quite understanding.
