Religion and Utopia

I'm a 19 year old male from Wolverhampton, England. I believe that modern living is too crowded and complex for our primitive minds, and that we do not rely on our bodies enough; there should be no need for gyms and sport, life itself should keep us fit and co-operating: an unfit selfish person would die, a fit 'team player' would prosper.

Religion wise, I take hints from Zen Buddhism. This leads me to an attitude that I would call 'positive apathy': apathy is 'nothing matters, why bother?', 'positive apathy is 'nothing matters, why not enjoy yourself?'. I see God as the Soul, a soul that we all share, in fact all life from viruses upwards share, and it is the pressure of the Soul that led to the creation of the Universe, and life within it.

In my ideal world, we would be still living in tribes, as a hunter-gather or early farming society with a small, diverse population. Obviously this is not possible, but I would like to find like-minded people who would be prepared to live in this way. This could be done in many ways, depending on numbers. A dozen or so could live in a single tribe, fifty could live in a few groups and meet up occasionally, a hundred could have a small, semi-permanent farming and metalwork community with a number of small hunting groups ranging around them, and two hundred or more could be established in various areas and climates: forest, jungle, tundra, coastal and so on.
