But smilies in GuideML are done with the <SMILEY TYPE="ufo"/> tag... not ...

I know, but when I did a testuserpage on Barts page the ufo was done as < ufo > but it was flagged as not being closed. Perhaps the parser trys to fix the GuideML in a plain text entry and gets confused, which in turn confuses me!

Hmm... interesting. I wouldn't know - I don't use plain text for Entries anymore. I think I stopped doing that when GuideML was introduced - was that Llama 1.1? I think so... anyway, I'm showing my age and geekiness now, so I'll just go and be geeky in the corner...

I thought it was a very interesting conversation. The fact that I have no idea what it is about is beside the point.

If you click the advanced search next to the search box at the top of the page then it will take you to a page where you can put a name in and search for a friend.

I liked the article on Amsterdam as well. Informative, if mostly useless. I think the Guide needs more informative but mostly useless content...

I'm a bit low on ideas at the moment, but I'll come up with something when I have some time to do it. Oh, the stress!

I've got too many ideas. And then I go somewhere and end up having to write an entry on the place I just visitied, and my ideas get pushed back again. Travel guides are fun.

I don't travel, so I don't get the chance to write things like that...

One of these days I'll get around to writing a new Entry. I like writing Entries, I like putting them through Peer Review and I like seeing them on the front page. I just don't have the ideas... it's depressing to see that all my recent Entries are MaW's Musings for the Post...
