Flyagaric(1) Jamjar is currently enduring a fact-finding mission in the real world (2), but rest assured when he gets five minutes spare he will probably make himself a lovely cup of tea or force down a particular potent ale. Given the unlikely eventuality of ten minutes becomming completly free and at his disposal(3)he will no doubt get around to updating this page with a plethora of fascinating links and wealth of crucial information without which...BLAH BLAH BLAH
1. A pretty type of mushroom which is in fact more interesting than it appears.
2. If you are not familiar with this you have been overexposed to the fungus described above.
3. Demands of stomach, liver, and sex organs notwithstanding
Ok, i've got 10 mins free, so what to rant about first? Well i've just read several posts about censorship on h2g2 and it does sound a little nanny (aunty!)state-esque. Obviously i skipped thru the formal blurb when i signed up but on closer inspection, if enforced strictly, the restrictions on 'offensive' material (whatever that means), personal comments & details, and posting of links to the wider-web suggest a horribly sanitised and eddifying environment quite out of character with the late DNA's own guide, and likely to inhibit the truly universal potential of the site. Well, i reserve judgement for the moment and will remain in this state unless i fall foul of these restrictions. If that happens then i'll destroy this damned website and take over the world with my power over the world's entire population of Penguins!
