John the gardener says, "Free Tibet!" Started conversation Apr 14, 2002
Hi there. I just popped by to say thanks for your comments under 'Tibetan Diaspora'. I hope I haven't put you off taking a peep at the rest of the project with my reply. I was really more irked by some of the 'manifest destiny' dung elsewhere in the thread; and, needless to say, it's a subject I feel strongly about.
I Like what you've done with the Personal Space. It's a shame that the funny story about the sheep had to go. Personally, I like sheep, and enjoy a good read about anything that makes them happy.

Thanks John. I must admit that I was a little intimidated joining in the conversation; I don't generally go for the serious or political topics. But it's an interesting subject, and I wanted to make a contribution. The sheer scale of the Tibetan story is a little frightening. I live in Ireland, population 4 million. China has over 8 million prisoners in forced-labour camps. The mind boggles.
I'll definitely go back and look at the rest of the project. Thanks for the friendly words
BTW, if you like stories about happy sheep, I'm sure there's a website somewhere...
