As much as I'd like to join you in YahooGroups, I am unable to because yahoogroups are the biggest pile of difficult to navigate, actively user hostile, complex pile of garbage.

Sorry.
I have joined Yahoo groups before for Viking stuff and when I tried it then it was an arduous process to get it working. 
I got as far as being able to sign in. It then asked me to convert my email address before I was allowed to join any groups. I have a hotmail account and I have a valid password for everything and it won't have any of it. I' run out of options and I know that I don't need to create a yahoo email account.
Any Clues?

Sorry about the previous rant. Sometimes it seems that systems are made difficult for the hell of it. Never mind, I have overcome the obstacles and (I think) I have sorted it out.
