h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm sorry about the, er... greeting, I'm regretting it already. It immediately puts me in mind of the irritating Sci-fi obsessed people (I'm trying to be polite here, OK) that seem to congregate all over the place on the internet, aye even on h2g2. Anyway. I thought I'd leave a message here because not very many people have spoken to you yet and because you have a list of dislikes, which is also good. I always find people are far too positive in their outlook on life. Negativity saves disappointment later.

Your dislikes include sprouts. Hmm. Have you read much Robert Rankin, at all? And now I'm slowly corroding under the pressure not to think about polar bears (another ill-advised comment on my part) and to think of new stuff to write. So I should go.

Hey thanks for the messages. I must admit that I think I wrote that intro page after one too many beers. That bit about disliking impoliteness is a little too much. I haven't read any Robert Rankin I'm afraid, but I am sure if he hates sprouts too then I am sure I would like him. Trouble with me is I don't read enough. And I do eat quiche and sprouts if I have too.

There is nothing wrong with your name, I just wish I could come up with something witty and original. The wholly harmless thing is a blatant bit of hitchikers thievery but when it comes to me wholly harmless seems totally accurate.

As for smileys I checked out their entry and they look a wee bit difficult to perform easily.
