I saw your entry ..it looks fine. You need to warn people that do a psychology degree you need to be good at maths. Also you need to do something else after the degree to practise. Usually people do a two year diploma in counselling, occupational psychology ..whatever their interests are. You can join the BPS as a student, recomended as they can provide information on further courses and career choices. I started life as a psychiatric nurse, then studied sociology and psychology, then gender research and then counselling.I teach psychology for a university(occasionally sociology- mainly research methods) and am also a counsellor and my expertise is in predicting behaviour and abnormal psychology. There are a large number of students who study a psychology degree and then never use it...partly because it doesn't answer what they expected it to do and partly because it scares them and because it is quite hard getting a job.
It also can be very boring..there is alot of statistics and lab work.
I was renown for having the noisiest classes in the university but not everyone is as lively as me(and probably teaches better!).
