About the V sign article, I find it better to take it to mean "you've not managed to chop my fingers off" when people show me the V I normally try to rectify the problem.

Usually this makes people stop using it so agressivly. Though VIP has adopted the use of the two smallest fingers on her left hand for cursing.

I'll join you for angband once the novelty of having the internet back wears off.

Angband is ace, I've not been playing it nearly enough recently. Finding Ghost n Goblins for MAME may be part of the reason for that

I remeber ghosts and goblins! I think my friend in primary school had it! Ahh, memories.

Ghosts and Goblins is an excellent game, thanks to the varied nature of the levels.

It's sequel, Ghouls and Ghosts is also excellent.

I remeber that too - is that the one where theres a level which keeps rotating and you have to stand on special platforms when it does because spikes come out of the walls/floor/ceiling while the level rotates?

I've no idea what level it is you're refering to . On Ghosts 'n' Goblins I can reach the second level, same with Ghouls and Ghosts. The level you've described is probably further on.

Ahh, it was super ghouls and goblins. I had a friend in primary school, we stayed up all night playing it and (eventually) finished it. The level im referring to is lvl4:the living caves. Its a nightmare if I remeber correctly.
