I've still got my lovely old A1200, I'm keeping it clean and sparkling "new" for future generations. Don't chuck your's out or you'll be a darned fool!

I've still got the box and everything.I can see me, years from now on the Antiques Roadshow with a hologram of Hugh Scully. You'll be infront of me with your tatty, ill cared for boxed A1200 and get valued at £100. Mine, of course, will be at least £200,000 and an extra £100,000 for my accessories.

Ah, mine's surely worth more than that!
What were your favourite Amiga games? (I assume you have some)

You should definitely keep it. It will be worth something if you look after it, especially if you still have the box. They don't make them anymore, you know

Gone are the days when you pass down Old Auntie Edna's diamond ring or that wonderful Brass of the couple kissing. My niece will be the owner of a late 20th century Amiga 1200.OOOOHH!Sounds impressive! What if we keep them sooooo looooong that they don't work?!?Should we periodically check them?I wonder......

Yeah, remember to grease those cogs and oil those wheels
Seriously, in about 20 years it will be a sort-of antique. And it would be a pity if all those games were forgotten about. You ever play Speedball 2 or Sensible Soccer? :D

I've never been any good at footie games.I am one of these people that spends the whole time running in the opposite direction from the ball.Baffling! It makes me sick watching other people play too!I remember having a few goes at the HHGTTG game. I don't think I ever managed to get further than the bulldozer! But I was never very good at those kind of games either! I packed my "pretty precious" away today.Giving it one last dust b4 it went.SniffSniff
Did you ever buy the real games?(Or was it all copies?Just interested......

I had some "naughty" copies but mostly originals. Needn't have wasted my money. Piracy pretty much finished of the Amiga, although I couldn't blame the kids who owned most of them. Asking 25 quid from a 14 year old per game is a bit stupid.

Yeah..I'm afraid I did buy mainly pirates. Rather than a concern over piracy, the authorities should have been more bothered about the state of the buildings in which they were sold. The Barras in Glasgow are a bloody death trap. If there had ever been a fire in there, they would have found a cluster of poor burned out bodies, in a cupboard! On the third floor!Ah well....I've got my new computer now....it certainly beats my first computer...Dragon 32..it wasn't even a 64! Most folk have never heard of it.How about you?I think I've got that up the loft too.I'm gonna be RICH....RICH...RICH...I say...

I used to work in retail. I'm a good typist so I may move into secretarial/data-entry work. Something that I can be left to do on my own without interruption appeals.
