About little ol' me
Posted Aug 3, 2001
This is probably not interesting at all to anyone but me. You can skip this bit if you want. I'm a person who can't spell (especially the big words), I like to learn about other cultures, and places around the earth. I enjoy reading sci-fi/ fantasy, sci-fi, mysteries, detective and spy books. I am "helping" my daughter in learning how to read and do math and art. Since her Public (Gov't run) school doesn't do the job to my satisfaction. Hence, the bit i submitted about the home-schooling in USA.
Places I have Lived:
I live in Georgia (right now) but I love to move around. Always have. I like to see new areas of the US/would like to see a lot more of the world too, I have been in several states.
Here is a list-probably not a full list:
Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Nevada, California, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Virginia, New York (visited the city), New Jersey, Florida.
I also was lucky enouph to be able to go to Japan. Where I "taught" conversational english (american style) to some Japanese Women for a few months while my ex was stationed there.
Places I would like to live/go and see:
well, Alaska, Germany, England, Ireland, Egypt, Iceland, Scandinavia and Russia. Places that either my family came from originally or that have so much history/mystery that I just can't shake that wonder lust that runs through all "researchers".
My biggest passion right now:
Is Geography.
In specific:
Cultural Geography. I got the bug from one of my teachers at Minnesota State University-mankato campus. It is so interesting to me! I also enjoy learning about all the different religions around the world, since that, I think, has a lot to do with how we do other things in our lives. Don't be afraid to leave me a note on just about any subject. I will let you know if I don't like it.
I need to thank someone who helped me with this guideml thing.
I appreciate it a lot!! Taliesin- I do have to admit, i just copied what s/he re-did for me.-
Don't forget to always have your towel handy!
