Its too Bloody hot!!
Posted Jul 27, 2001
O.K. I complained that it was wet and now the sun has come out this week in a big way and now its too bloody hot.
Not too hot for holidays, or the swimming pool or the seaside but the underground is stiffling, especially in the evening when the stupid bloody tourists crowd onto the `rush hour` tube to make the working stiffs journey home even more unbearable. Do they know why the trains are crowded after 5 p.m? If I could leave work earlier i would believe me.
But these tourists have all day to come and go and still they leave their journey home `til I and my fellow workers want to go home. idiots. Anyway I`m off for two weeks so stuff `em.

Its raining...again
Posted Jul 17, 2001
Earlier this morning I was up on the roof of the building I work in, which is situated near Blackfriars station, in the City of London. The sun was shinning, although there was plenty of cloud around, and glancing across the grey waters of the river Thames past the newly constructed millenium bridge, which has a spider web of scaffolding slung underneath to allow the correction of a certain wobble encountered by foot passengers on their first journey across I noticed the less than imposing facade of the old power station newly refurbished into The Tate Modern and thought , who in their right mind would choose to live in a city? Turning my head to the left Tower bridge swings into view and still turning the sight of one of Londons tallest buildings which used to be called Nat. West tower and is now apparently just the Financial tower building which has a very large number on the side that I can see from here and its ..42. why? who knows. Anyway, I just went back up from my cell to get some fresh air and guess what? Its Bloody raining! This IS July right? Summer! Tell it to the weather.
