Very dear Amy Tom , Faith and Grace.

I have been going through my friends and I realise that I have not spoken to you for ages.
As one gets older everything seems to take so much longer...it is a real bore. !
anyway, I am keeping failry well except that it is very difficult to get around as my hips seems to be firmly in the "locked" position all the time so I walk very badly and very slowly and painfully. !!

I really think that winter is coing early this years. It has already got incredibly cold. I have started doing the little garden which I have on my verandah. I must say that the summer one was quite beautiful this year. I kept wanting to take a picture of it but was always procrastinating, and now of course it is over.
I am going to put in a lot of bulbs for winter. and have alsor bought someother nice new plants.

I hope that the girls are well. I have a plan - of which I hoep you will approve.

But will write to you when I have finalised a few things.
in the meantime. Do remember your old friend Chrsitiane, and I sent ever such big hugs to the girls and of course to the two of you. I hope you are happy in your new flat.

I know how busy you are and hence the long silence. But I do want to set certain prmises I made in motion. !1

I hope the girls are well, and that Faith is enjoying her school - is she at school now?. I expect that Grace is growing up just like her lovely sister.

I hope that tom has found something which is fulfilling his aims.
