who do you talk to when there arent many folk online?

Well, it's 8:30 pm here, so I usually figure no one's online right now, and my husband just got home... Lots of times, I'll hop to different friends' pages and lurk their convos a bit, or do the Infinite Improbability Drive, or check archives...

Anyway, I'm going to spend some time with my hubby

also i leave my puter on at night so that i can listen to podcasts whilst i sleep, usually joyce meyer. by staying awake tonight i am garunteed some sleep tomorrow night (tonight actually)

that is Amy. Im still settling in here and trying to get used to a new church. I have done a Royal Servants mission trip before and try to do a random act of kindness every so often (even if it is buying orange juice for a friend or sharing my honey roasted paenuts) There have been a lot of conversations poking fun at christians here on h2g2 recently, but i dont feel grounded enough at the moment to argue my corner. I really hope your cold clears up soon, you said it's a head cold, have you tried putting some hot (almost boiling) water in a bowl and "steaming" your head with a towel over it, it should help clear out the gunk in your sinuses and will be good for your skin too.

Staying home yesterday and sleeping an extra 3 hours helped a lot--I'm now back down to ignorable misery

Well, I have made a couple of meets--one got a 4 or 5-part write-up in The Post (one of my drop-down lists has all my Post contributions), I arranged another that no-one showed up at (including me--started arranging it way in advance, and between arranging and the meet date, I got pregnant and gave birth) Had a couple micro-meets.... Just haven't made any UK ones, and they keep looking less and less likely, I'm afraid (can't afford a passport right now, never mind airfare!)

well if i am ever in the USA i will have to let a lot of people know but dont start pestering me like you do with 2legs or i may just appear!

Actually, the main reason I pester 2legs is 'cause he told me to! I'll periodically ask him if I should stop, but he always says to continue Heck, after over 7 years, I think I'd probably go into shock if he told me he was buying tickets, and asking to be reminded which airport is closest

(And I know of some easy hiking trails with fallen redwoods along them--a bit easier to see the size of 'em than standing at the base and looking up. Haven't actually been to the trail I'm thinking of, but I'm pretty sure it's *right* next to the trail, so could be felt, as well)

well i suspect it will be acouple of years untill i can come over, but i am essentially up for it. Right i had better start saving up!
