We had a very cool and wet spring, and then a very slow approach of summer. It has finally reached us, temperatures in the low 30's, humidity making it feel like the middle-40's ... And working through it all, while most everyone else takes family time. My family (a daughter) is well-grown, so I am pleased to keep the shops going while the young families enjoy their vacation times.

since I am semi retired and have no kids holidays are noticed as schools (I pass when I go into town) are quiet. oh and it is busier in town...

Any form of retirement for me is yet eleven years and a bit away. I have to push past the arthritis and other things until I reach 60.
