Hey, Apparition:
I've left the WWW Americans thread. It really does seem a waste of time. I was willing to put up with Oetzi's ramblings, but to have to bother with Dave's blind screaming about the title of the thread just really was too much. It was nice that the only post of mine he responded to was the guns blasting one. I just figure the big issues are on other threads where there are fewer people unwilling to have a discussion. It's too bad as there have always been many American people on that thread who were willing to discuss even if they didn't agree. Oh well. Hope to see you around.

Every now and then I love a bit of conflict and other time I don't. I may hang about for some fun but I agree with your fustration and I have left that thread twice.
To be honest. The only reason I came back to that thread was because h2g2 was pretty dead at the time and seemingly nothing was going on.
I'm sure I'll see your voice of reason bringing an avalanche of links in other threads. Occasionally trying to convince a few that Canadia is warm
