There is a site called civ finatics. It's all about the game civilisation and it incarnations. I was reading a thread called '1000 clues that to play too much civ'

In the game you have advisors and other leaders that you have contact with. The other leaders have mood indicators.

That's cute! I thought it was something about Megan.
Is civ a good game? Jimmy's been obsessing about Final Fantasy 6 lately.

Aha! I spoke about it to the Captain last night, and he says it's good, but Age Of Empires isn't - what do you think?

It's a question of depth and compared with Civilisation, age of empires doesn't have any. I've gone from 6,000bc to 1700ad before having a war (those bully-boys from babalyon).

Oh, *them* bullyboys! I admit the Captain prefers 'first person shooters' and plenty of action... 'FPSs' I believe they're called. And also RPG - which does not stand for Rocket Propelled Grenade!

I like first person shooters when I'm in the mood for something mindless btu mostly I like isometric games like redalert2 and yuri's revenge

I've tried shooters, including 'Star Trek Invasion' for PSOne, but I am hopelessly bad! I like role play games (watching them, Jim won't let me play..)
