theres people who download mp3 then copy them to CDs and sell them
theres people who download terrible picures of child porn.
why do the moderators see fit to remove tame post that contain few choice words.....Choice words you can hear these these words on the tv anytime of the day.tmies have change no longer do words like:-
F**K
S**T
T**T
B*****D

Which of course, it won't and you know that.
As the saying goes, Luke, it's not big and it's not clever. Did you join this site just so that you could say rude words, ask for arguments and talk about porn? If so, I'm sorry but you are going to be very disappointed.
When you joined you agreed to be bound by the <./>HouseRules</.>
Take another look at them before you post anymore. People on h2g2 are very friendly and you can have many rewarding conversations about any number of topics.
It is a site for writing too, so why not see if there is a gap in the Guide that you would like to fill by contributing an entry. Here's a page that can help you begin. Writing-Beginners You've been greeted by your Ace, so why not take a look at the links they have suggested.
If you have any other questions, look here, <./>DontPanic-FAQ</.> ask an Ace or one of the community editors whose name appears in italics on the list. Or try here: <./>Askh2g2</.>
But please, mind your manners!

you said that if i join this site to swear start arguements and talk about porn that i would be very disappointed.
if thats true how did you know i was talking about these things
did you get a vision in your head
obviously iam not disappointed because other people respond to these post,do they not!.thats why you are here now to start on me for having the freedom to do what i like.
As for swearing not being clever, many comedians use bad language in thier act not just randomly. No these are scipted just like in tv programs such as "south Park".These acts are worked and worked on not just thrown together
People like Billy Connolly and Ben Elton i would consider to be very intelligent beings.
As the saying goes "rules are there to be broken"
Thanks for your responce if you have anythink else to say on the matter please post
Luke

Hi Luke. I'm sorry if you feel I have "started on you" but if it wasn't me it would have been someone else.
One thing you must remember, Luke is that there is no such thing as a private conversaetion on h2g2. All forums are open for anyone, registered or not, to read freely. They might appear to be between two people, or more, but there are *always* readers.
Of course, in order to contribute to the conversation, someone has to be a registered h2g2 researcher, as we both are. Contributing researchers are bound by the House Rules and if the find this impossible they are politely asked not to contribute any more.
So, no, I didn't get a "vision in my head" but I do take a look at the <./>Info</.> to find out who is talking.
It's just a guess here, but I have a feeling you may be under 18? Please remember that the Rules ask you to check with an adult before you post messages to h2g2. Forgive me if I am wrong. There are many young researchers here, from about the age of 10 upwards. The oldest researcher is, I believe 74.
So whilst your choice of language may be acceptable in private conversations with your own peer group, you are now making open statements in front of a very large and varied community. All of them can read what you write.
Manners are rules of their own kind really. It's a pity you came here just to break rules. I am just trying to help you get the most from the Guide and the community you have chosen to join.

I dont see how you feel you have the right to judge me on my age, company that i keep or the things i do or say.
you must be so perfect in ever way i only wish i was that perfect,in an ideal world we would all be however that is not the case.Live and let live,if i come across a tv program i dont like i turn over,if a song comes on the radio i dont like i change the channel,if i dont like a post i stop reading it.
however i will take you point onboard.i cant say i`ll keep to the rules,if i do stray iam sure the moderators will put me in my place.
i surgest you should visit"Archangel"coversation on virginity post 781 i feel young children could see this it may need your touch to keep them on the straight and narrow
Luke
many thanks for your input on my behaviour

Hi Luke, I hadn't seen this thread 'till now.
Billy Connolly is the master of swearing.
I have noticed some thrange goings on with moderating. I simuposted with a moderated post. unless the mods are clearvoyant or they can see what you're typing, I don't see how it's possible.
Luke. So I know I'm not mad... The "boy" did not say he was 16 untill the slagging match was well and truly under way, right?
Key: Complain about this post
