A personal thing
I am a New Zealander full of all our perverse pride in our country--three Nobel Prize laureates, three Acadamy Award winners and humungous other things in between! Did a South Canterbury farmer-mechanic called Pearce beat the Wright brothers? You are all flying planes with the ailerons he invented. Personal interests include science fiction, a little fantasy, history, contemporary politics, backpacking travel (longest trip, 9 Asian countries), jazz and blues and cooking in different styles. Working background in journalism (sports, general and agricultural) and public relations (several multinationals in the cv). Been on the internet for over 5 years. Hope I can contribute something of interest as I read widely.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
