Thanks for the editing. The layout's a lot better than my original.
I never did get a reply from Tessa Jowell on my follow-up query. That was August, so I guess now that I never will.

There's a typo in the "Reaction" paragraph. The word "following" is spelled incorrectly. I think that was my fault in the original.

I notice you've removed my footnote about David Blunkett. I can understand why, but I'd like it re-instated please. I think the comment was valid, and in keeping with the content and style of the overall article. How a blind man can talk intelligently about TV images is a valid question, not a gratuitous insult. I'm not going to create any waves about this line, but I would like it kept in if at all possible.
