Ghost Pt 2
Posted Jul 12, 2001
I don't really remember what happened, but I do remember I was never scared or upset by her. Well it turns out, I think she has followed me to the house my fiancee and I bought. Its strange to because my sister has been followed by a spirit or whatever but hers is a man. Both me and my fiancee have seen her, and the dog has to. Thank God her son hasnt seen her, Im pretty sure he would not handle it too well. Anyway, Ill write more about it later.

Ghosts
Posted Jul 12, 2001
The saying I think is best to descibe my life, is " It can't get any stranger." It's not true, but I like it anyway.
When I was about 8 or 9, I used to see a ghost. She was about my age, in a long white dress and I would see her in the feild across the street from our house.
Oops get back to this later!!!

Ancient Mysteries of Missing Socks
Posted Jul 12, 2001
The last few days I have been mildly disabled with a bad case of sun burn, and have more time than is safe on my hands. I got to thinking about the missing sock mystery.
I believe I may have found out what is happening to them. A simple answer would be they never made it into the washer. I imagined bunches of socks massed under the bed in mortal terror. But that was to ordinary. Another idea was a combination of heat and static build up in the dryer developed into an energy vortex that either destroyed them or hurled them into a parallel universe. But that explanation was too Star Trekkish.
I believe they have travelled to another dimention but they went of their own free will. After an exhaustive and meticulous studies of the dryer and the entire house, I found no signs of vortexs or any other odd occurences, well there were some odd things, but that is for another time.
So my conculsion is the socks make thier way to a world of thier own. A world where they can live a sock oriented life. And by a strange twist of fate, it is one planet out from they legendary planet of ball point pens. And to be honest finding a planet of ball point pens would be nice, but a planet full of socks of questionable cleanliness is probably left to itself.

Ancient Mysteries of missing socks

Over the last few days Ive been mildly disabled with a bad case of sunburn, and had more time than is safe on my hands. I got to thinking about the missing socks in the dryer mystery.
I believe I may have a clue as to what is happening to them. The simple answer that they never made it to the dryer, and are instead massed under the bed in mortal fear, was too ordinary. Or that either the washer or dryer develop an energy vortex that hurls them into another dimension, that was too Star Trekkish.
No, I believe they make thier own way to a parallel dimension, to a planet one orbit out from the lost ball-point pen world. I have done exhaustive and meticulous studies of the dryer, washer, and nearly the entire house. No sign of vortexs, or refugee camps under the furniture full of dirty and down-trodden socks.
So this is the only conclusion which can satisfy the observed facts. And though finding the ball-point world would be nice, a land of socks of questionable cleanliness is probably best left to itself.
