Games & Home Cinema Rooms now back on line! (15/08/01)
Posted Aug 15, 2001
I've just edited The Games Room and The Home Cinema Room to remove URLs rejected by the H2G2 Monitors. You can find them both via The Lighthouse.
The Monitors objections seem pretty arbitary. For example, they didn't like one particular Games Company website (Wizards of the Coast) out of the four I'd listed.
Ho-hum.

The Lighthouse Updated (14/08/01)
Posted Aug 14, 2001
I've added separate entries for 'The Home Cinema Room' and 'The Games Room' in the Lighthouse.
The former has been 'hidden' by the moderators - I guess due to the external links. Hopefully it will reapear in due course.
The same may well happen to The Games Room too - ho hum.

Western RPG (25/07/01)
Posted Aug 2, 2001
I ran the final session in the current scenario of my Western RPG game last Wednesday (25/07/01).
The scenario was loosely based on the John Wayne movie 'The Train Robbers' (see [URL removed by moderator]for more details).
My players managed to retrieve the stolen $50,000 paychest and return it to the railway company for a handsome reward. In the process, they managed to fight off the outlaw Jones Gang by creative use of dynamite.

Robo Rally (01/07/01)
Posted Jul 2, 2001
I played Robo Rally yesterday (01/07/01) at my RPG club (see 'About me' for the URL).
I managed to win, although the other player was only one apce away from finishing at the end. Robo Rally is a fun game of robot combat (nothing to do with 'Robot Wars' though) - I thoroughly recommend it.
