I'm a late twenties wannabe (or apsiring) writer. I love sci-fi on telly but don't know much about asimov, clarke (well, I've watched 2001) but get very excited watching the best of Dr Who, Blake's 7, Star Cops, and finally Htich Hikers giude to the galaxy.
Also have a keen love and interest in art (esp. impressionism) music (esp. dance, funk, classical, and punk rock like The Police, sixties psychedelia).
Fave authors are John Wyndham, Douglas Adams, Jeanette winterson and Ben Elton.
I'm enthusused by the opportunity to read and write for H2G2, and i hope it will lead to meetings, conversations, friends and an encyclopedic brain on all things subject mattery, and that's my lot, I think.
Additional: also one of my other fave net activities is www.livejournal.com. For anyone with a chat room phobia (me too sometimes) its a great way of getting to know about people, making friends online, and a creative tool.
