Welcome to my space,
I was born and raised up fairly well in Kansas City, KS. My husband and I soon grew tired of the terrain and lack of outdoor activities so we packed it up and moved to the Pacific NW. I have lived here in the Portland, Oregon metro area ever since.
I teach special education in middle school currently (12-14 year olds). Those adolescents can be trying at times, but they get under your skin after awhile. Kind of like a chigger.
I read mostly science fiction although I try to branch out. Currently I'm trying some Joyce Carol Oates, but it's hard to put down the Orson Scott Card.
