No, no, this has nothing to do with the Dave Clark Five!!! Just a brief descriptive passage.
Fairly undistinguished industrial career (industrial chemist, metallurgical testing, textile technology, etc.), leading to extremely interesting museum appointments (science and technology, aviation) and exhausting aviation career (air shows, airfield management and much more). Odd bits of broadcasting and writing.
Now an aviation consultant in the USA.
