Thanks, oldaardvark, that is brilliant! Jim is already walking away humming the first one - Paracetawossname...
He's reading cellular biology, he has a lecture at 13.00 - ah the leisurely start, which will disappear as time goes on.

Ah cellular organelles, unit membranes, phospholipid bi-layers and mitochondria, where are you now when I need inspiration. Or maybe cellular biology has changed beyond all recognition in this modern age.
Tell Jim to look out for cytoplasmic reticulum. Muscle cells and nerve cells are even more interesting in that a lot more happens.
Glad you enjoyed the music, we have been humming the tunes for the last day as well.
I liked the take on Yellow by Coldplay in that they turned it into a jaundice caused by secondary liver cancer. Your Jim will probably become as macabre as this.
If you ever get the chance to see a UK show called Cardiac Arrest, you must. Its a black comedy and very biting. Produced perhaps 8 years ago.
As gross as it is, my medic friends say it is still toned down for general consumption.
Bye for now

Yesterday, in the lab, they looked at slides of rat pancreas! He got a letter today that his scholarship money will be in his account in the next few days, so he can go on a textbook buying spree... I have looked at his coursebook, the one they get given, and I am slightly envious...
Cytoplasmic reticulum... what wonderful words, and I have even got a tiny idea what they mean. (I started psychopaedic nursing when I were a lot younger, but what he's doing is more fun, more technical and academic.)
Thanks again for the link, and we'll watch out for that programme if we can find it anywhere..
