Heya just found you in a roundabout way through Blinky's PS and thought I would come and say hey, seeing as all of that weird stuff is nothing to do with me so I don't have to try and take sides or anything.
So hulloo! How are you? Who are you? What are you? What did you last eat?
Don't worry, if you don't want to reply that's alright.

Nice to hear from you, Kat... What did I last eat? A Strawberry Slice chocolate biscuit, by Arnotts. (ly...) Like Deanna Troi, in Star Trek, I have never met a I didn't like...
I'll visit the language thing, and see what it is.

Thank you.
I started it, then left it to my editor to carr on for a while, came back and found we'd got a badge and all sorts!
The biscuit sounds awful! But then I hate strawberries...
I have to admit that my grip on star trek is reasonably shaky, unless it's Voyager and then I have a pretty okay knowledge.
I just had popcorn and haddock for lunch. I wonder if that's healthy or not?

Popcorn and haddock - you mean together? ! But it sounds fun.
Strawberries are a love 'em or hate 'em thing...
The Star Trek movie we watched tonight, "The Undiscovered Country' was not so great, but others are wonderful. My favourite series was 'The Next Generation', very idealistic.

well not together together...but sort of with the popcorn as a sideorder. I'm trying to cut down on snacks you see and I figured that popcorn would be a slow way to ease myself into it.
Im currently trying to play the clarinet part of a piece of music by Brahms. Do you play any instruments?

DA ; Simply Vicky: Don't get pithy with me! Posted Jul 31, 2004
Wow, the clarinet! That's from what I hear, a way difficult instrument. Once upon a time, I was learning the guitar, but now I just listen to recorded music. Last night, we watched a freaky movie called 'Donnie Darko', and it had a song (part of the theme) Mad World, which I had forgotten was by Roland Ausubel, of 'Tears for Fears'! (I think it was re-released early this year by someone else, and in the movie was performed by someone called Gary Jules. Marvellous!)

UGH! the guitar and Kat are a BBBAADDD combination! In fact most instruments aren't good for me. I have very short fingers and so have major problems with lots of things.
I'm not that fab at clarinet...I'm listening to a clarinet concerto just now and aspire to playing it...however...not going to happen. It's got all sorts of twiddles!
What's this odd film about then? And who's "we"?
And what's the issue with blinky?

I wasn't that good at guitar either, so I gave up (and my ex-husband's rellies half-inched it anyway. Sigh)
The fillum, is about a "dysfunctional boy" to quote the case of the DVD who dies and travels through time (or maybe he does those things in reverse order. and wonderful! It was recommended by at least 3 people, so we just had to get it.
"We" is my 17 year old son and me, cos he still lives at home, and we are movie and sf freaks. I first became aware of Blinky in January this year. It went from there. Blinky thinks I hate him - I don't.

That's rather amusing.
Wow I just noticed how unforgiving digital cameras are! I managed to zoom in on all of my spots! And there aren't even that many! So at 2am I'm scrubbing my face. I can't sleep and I'm all zippy and odd like I've drunk loads of coffee or something. Oh well...now if I don't want to sleep within an hour and a half I'll have to just push through the night and wait for the next night or else I'll be amazingly grouchy on two hours sleep or something.
So tell me something else about you...

I had a job interview at an agency last week, and the woman pounced on me and said "just a photo for our files", and shoved a digital camera in my face! I am glad she didn't show me the photo - scary!
Something else about me - I have a streaming code in my dose, and am full of self pity.

AWWWWWWW *big lots of sympathy* Everyone seems to have colds at the moment...except me! Maybe because I hardly go out so the germs haven't had a chance to get to me yet.
Talking of which however today is the day I MUST go out because today is PSYCH DAY! So we shall see how that goes. I already feel sick and yuck and scared.
What was the job interview for? You get it?
Nick's now on holiday so I'm all alone against well...the world!

The job interview was for temp secretarian () work. So, it comes and it goes, que sera... I quite like zipping around all over the place, and using new systems, but I'd like a full time job close to where we live, better. Sigh.
How did your psych day go? I hope all is well, and that Nick will soon return!
