He did it! He came home with his uncle and a certificate saying he'd played 10 hours of non-stop chess. They ate pizza in between matches. Drank and got high on the added sugar.

Then he came down with something that someone at the chess-a-thon had given to half the kids there. For 18 hours, he was Colonel Chunder. Thank God it wasn't meningitis, which is my worst nightmare! Never share spit with anyone! (Except yr wife of course, that's different, and Jim just had something like Delhi Belly. Apologies to Indians if that's racist..)

After paying $1.30 to print out a 'walkthrough' for Final Fantasy 6 for him.
