Here it is, it's ny and occasionally a little too hot! That's what I live here for, but it's too rare.
I have been (downcastheadshamedwhispersmiley> writing poetry over the last 5 days! *It's all ostensibly anti-war, but the most recent one turned out on second and third reading, to be being a bit sarcastic about people who sit on their hands and say 'Per Ardua Asbestos', as many do...
It's the sheer "whatever Saddam Hussein does, Dubya will strike anyway" inevitability of it that fills me with 'rage against the machine'. Thank God for Star Trek: The Next Generation, which is on late at night, and fills me with the optimism about our future that Gene Roddenberry wanted to convey.
Right now, I think we ned hamburgers and Coke (standard, the valilla's at home) and we'll feel at least a little bit better...
(* I wrote the first poem in 2001. It stank. It's buried somewhere here on my space, as it was a journal entry.)

I know I removed it from my space, but I also know there's provision for putting it back, which I might just do, if there's demand.. also as an object lesson to myself, about people who assume writing a pome is easy cos it's short, it can't be a dead loss.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
