h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Here it is, 220102, and it is gloriously sunny and blue skied - a 'blue-dome day' the TV guy calls it.

But, there has been debate on the radio and in the newspaper about the treatment of prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This is treatment that I described as "unconsionable" when I ill-advisedly ran a talk-back host this morning. She leapt on my uncertain pronunciation to discredit all I said. Double-plus-ungood, because all I was saying is that there are complex legal ramifications regarding the whole thing, and meantime, it does no one any good to treat these prisoners as if they are non-human!

Still, I oughta have known better than to call talk-back! I will not do that again! (I hope)
