DA ; Simply Vicky: Don't get pithy with me! Started conversation Oct 31, 2001
It's a sunny wet day (though not a Tuesday...) 
Last night, I wrote 2 poems, the 2nd and 3rd poems of 2001 - 1 much better than the other, and honestly, I think I'll stick to stories, it was sweating blood-type stuff!
I've just finished bk 8 of Katharine Kerr's 'Deverry series', which is excellent! It's about war,which is particularly apropos, at the moment, of many things. 
I am infuriated by far-right media commentators on NZ radio - who are up a river in Egypt about the sins of the CIA - one has a brother-in-law who's ex-CIA (if you ever really are - ex, that is). The director of ABC News (the guy in charge, whatever), has ordered his staff to stop showing civilian casualties, or intersperse them with shots of the Sept 11th event - not good propaganda, o/wise. Oops, sorry, did i say propaganda?
I say it loud, and proud - I AM ANTI WAR!!!!!!!!!
