h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Here it is, 15 days after the "Day of Infamy" the "Attack on America" and whatever the media are currently calling it.. Thing is, one radio station has in their advertising, that 11 September 2001, was the day "everything changed", and that "your life will never be the same". Sorry, my life is pretty much as it was! To use a thumping great cliche, it's like waiting for the other shoe to drop! When will things change? No WWIII yet, thank God, but the only change here in NZ, is that the level of ignorant racist comment about Islam, refugees and Afghanistan has vastly increased!
However, Pikachu says it's 2.39 and the kid is hungry. To be honest, so am I... . . . . So, it's time to go eat, but not without mentioning Star Trek Preserver, by William Shatner. This is entry 3 in his Mirror Universe saga, and it details more of Shatner's thinking and personality development than he perhaps realises. Good book, though.
