Hi, I'm Clickie.
I just found this site while surfing the web for stuff on/by/about Douglas Adams, prompted by his recent untimely demise. This place is really incredible. I hope to make some valuable contributions to it in due time, but in the meantime I'm just going to be nosy, read random entries, and bug people with comments. My comments will most likely center around a few topics that I'm pretty well-informed about: Apple Computer and its products, computer science in general, the San Francisco Bay Area, plant biology, genetics, ecology, and biology in general.
I usually spend most of my online time at the Unofficial Official Unofficial Brunching UBB, which is putatively the message board for the Brunching Shuttlecocks. That site has been my favorite humor site since 1997, but sadly is updated quite infrequently these days.
Since I'm so new here, I don't have many people I know. I did find out that one of my fellow Brunchers, a cool cat by the name of Cheezdanish, is also a researcher here. If I meet more people, I'll put more links here.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
