Scientist have two different views on global warming. Some believe the temperatures will rise and some believe the temperatures will fall. Who do you agree with?

The bad news is that whatever happens in the rest of the World, global warming is likely to make us folks in the UK colder. Even if the planet warms up, we don't. The rising temperature would cause the Arctic ice caps to begin melting, as this cold meltwater pours into the North Atlantic it swamps the convection system that powers the Gulf Stream which stops running. As it's the warm Gulf Stream current which keeps the temperature here artificially high we'd find it getting pretty chilly here. So either way, whatever happens to the rest of the planet we Brits are stuffed!

Thats why we should try and do something while we still can! All is not lost yet! There may still be hope

There is some recent research that suggests that global warming may not be our fault at all, but mat in fact be part of a natural cycle. A lot of people will try to use this as an excuse to go on polutting the planet, which I think would be _bad_.

Even if we don't cause global warming, if blaming pollution helps bring pollution down it's a good. I know one thing that pollution is definately to blame for: I can't see as many stars as I could twenty years ago and I miss them.

I've got lotsa thick coats and gloves, I love cold weather.
