All about Me!
I was born in Troy, New York, on April 23, 1972. My parents, Lenny and Linda, separated after 7 years. My mother moved my younger sis and I to a small town upstate, where I have lived ever since. I have a diploma from Coral Shores High in Florida, where I lived while working as a nanny at age 18. A year later, that fell through, so I moved back home to attend college. The two courses I excelled in (I was a broadcasting major) were Psychology 101 and creative writing. This fuelled a lifelong ambition to become a published author. As yet, I have not published, but am trying. Over the years, I've had a great many different jobs, from nanny to hotel management to bartending to pool hall attendant. I enjoy movies, music, writing, swimming, roller coasters, long, intelligent arguements with my friends, and reading. I am a huge fan of Monty Python, British comedy in general, scifi, Japanese anime, horror movies, Looney Tunes, and Stephen King novels. Musically, I like Depeche Mode, Oasis, Muddy Waters, Aretha Franklin, a little bit of everything, really. My favorite actors are Ewan mcGregor, Judi Dench, Anthony Hokpins, Emma Thompson, Jeremy Northam, Jeremy Irons, and Bruce Willis. Mel Brooks movies always make me laugh like a loon, no matter how many times I see them. I have a rather quirky sense of humor, which even my closest friends do not always understand. It probably comes from a misspent youth, watching Monty Python and reading books like Hitchiker's Guide. That's me, encapsulated for your reading enjoyment.
