It's Friday and I really should be working
Posted Jun 8, 2001
Well, here I am. The last day of the week and I have so much to do I don't know where to start. Still, before I dive in to it once more, I must record for posterity that I have started to get the hang of using smileys.
So, it's all round with an for me. Hurrah!

Doing the Time Warp again
Posted Jun 7, 2001
This is all very odd. This morning I noticed the clock on my VCR was nine hours slow. No mean feat for a digital appliance. This afternoon my watch, still ticking merrily, was twenty-five minutes slow, but keeping perfect time in its own frame of reference.
Is it me? And if it is, why aren't all my timepieces affected? Is only part of my consciousness abducted by aliens for strange yet oddly tabloid-friendly experiments? Or is just a huge coincidence?
Perhaps this is a subject for further research. On the other hand, I have a lot of work to do now, so perhaps I'll just have a cup of tea and forget about it.

Thumb twiddling

Well, here I am on h2g2 and I have absolutely no idea what to write. I can think of nothing of interest for my personal page, nor can I think of any useful contribution I could make to this community. I think I had better get on with the PhD instead.
