What was the point of you joining this thread? All you are doing is trolling for the slightest possible insult to be offended by.

Honey, I think what zoomer is trying to say is that there seem to be a lot of random "new" researchers popping up and poking their noses into other people's business. But they're not really new, they're just new nicknames for someone who doesn't care to share their true identity. Hence the "sock puppet".
If you can prove you're not, be our guest. Tell us how you randomly got here in the middle of a very controversial time on h2g2 without first meeting any one of us. I'm sure zoomer will be glad to apologize for offending you. But if you can't... well, you'll have to deal with us assuming you're a sock puppet.

On a (significant) side note, judging by the mannerisms, I think I may know who this is.. But I'll wait for confirmation before divulging my guess.

Yet another insult, okay then guess if it means that much to you and please stop the childish name calling

No, no it wasn't. I put those 'insults' in quotes. I wasn't directing them at anybody.

Ok, for the record, this is a rewrite of the posting which was removed.
Here are some examples of what is, and isn't, an insult.
Someone says to you: "You are a sock puppet."
That, is not name calling.
Someone says to you: "You're a -er!"
Possible name calling - what's behind the bleeps? Anything at all?
Someone says to you: "You're a prat."
Mild name calling, but name calling nonetheless.
However, where does 'sock puppet' fall? 'Not name calling'.

No, actually. That is one of the two ridiculous arguments I have seen around this site. The mod team hid it because someone yikesed it. If they disagree with the yikes it will reappear. So an individual who has nothing to do with the running of the site *hid* it. Get it? In addition I have been yikesed and the mod team asked that it stay yikesed because people tend to read only the post in question and not the subsequent apology or explaination and then increase their work load by yikesing again.
btw, the other argument that makes no sense is that people who don't pay BBC license fees shouldn't have access here. This is a web site, open to all. Not a television.
