Wow, what a varied interest in music! I think one of my favourites is 'Caribbean Blue'

Guten tag!

I attribute this to my total lack of musical talent, which prevents me from telling one kind of music from another.
I've been reading on a wide variety of topics here on H2G2. I'm starting to think about a couple of topics on which I can contribute something. I need to learn your markup language, though.

OK, here goes:
I mentioned a page with useful links, here:
http://www.h2g2.com/A521687
If you're already familiar with HTML, you'll find it pretty easy to use GuideML - under header 'Don't Panic' you'll find an URL for the GuideML Clinic!
If you're a newbie (like I was) to HTML, you might find the URL to 'Annabella's HTML Help' more useful!
And if you stumble over a user page that you really like, you can see the markup language like this:
Take user 135628
http://www.h2g2.com/U135628
Change the URL to this:
http://www.h2g2.com/testuserpage135628
Voila!

Hi Zero
I saw you online, and was intrigued by your nickname...
Just wanted to mention that you can also view the code for Guide entries...
Just replace the 'A' in the Guide entry URL with the word 'test'
enjoy...

Thanks (also to Kristina the Flamenco Dancer). I learn best by example, so this is very helpful.
The nickname is not my coinage. It was the name of a character in an obscure 1970s comic strip called "Superfan." The strip was simultaneously a satire on American professional football, and on the superhero genre. "Zero Irregardless" was Superfan's "Clark Kent" -- the name of his mild-mannered and maximally inconsequential alter ego. For some reason, I've never forgotten it.
I've come up with a topic that won't require anything but straight text: the secret meaning of L. Frank Baum's "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," including the meaning of "Oz." I think I'll start with that.

Good choice, Zero! I've checked, but haven't found any edited or recommended entry for that subject!
Good luck with the writing!
