The World Wide ... er ... Cyberlemming ??!??

The Cyberlemming is a shy retiring creature usually found leaping off computer desks in large quantities.

Not a lot is known about the original natural environment of these mammals, but it is believed that they first migrated to these 'workstations' around the mid 1990s.

They have developed a variety of natural skills to enable them to survive in this new and potentially very dangerous environment, namely keyboard and mouse skills, the use of eMail, forums and newsgroups, and the (dubious) advantage of being able to work for really bad companies whilst receiving a measely pittance. It is therefore lucky for the diminutive Cyberlemming that they only require small quantities of food and the occasional pint of Real Ale along with regular periods of isolation in a room with a Cable Modem.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
